The City is seeking a qualified Electrical Contractor to maintain the traffic signal and street light inventory owned by the City. Preventive maintenance is required at each signalized intersection every two years in addition to regular maintenance and service requests, which will be initiated on an as and when requested basis. 

The City owns Street Lights, Traffic Signal Controllers and Signal Heads, Pedestrian Heads, pushbuttons, and Emergency Pre-Emption Lights. Traffic signals control approximately 53 intersections, and maintenance is required on about 4,000 streetlights. The City will share a list of locations and details on each signalized intersection and provide the schedule of preventative maintenance and inspections with the Contractor.

The Contractor must be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to respond to emergencies. A protocol for Contractor call-out will be established and provided to the Successful Proponent.
