The City is seeking Proposals from qualified companies to provide security and operational support services outside of regular business hours at its Public Works Yard, located at 2020 Labieux Road, Nanaimo, BC.
This role involves a hybrid function, combining on-site security monitoring with call handling, public assistance, and coordination of City services and emergency responses. Services must be delivered on a schedule, continuously throughout the year, by trained personnel, with the Contractor responsible for maintaining reliable staffing coverage, ensuring site safety, and supporting the City’s after-hours operations.
A detailed description of the required services is set out in Section 5.0 – Scope of Services and Requirements.
This Request for Proposal is subject to the New West Partnership Trade Agreement, the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (Chapter 5), and the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (Chapter 19). |
