This RFSOQ is seeking professional Construction Management Services to support the design and renovation of three (3) existing fire stations within the City of Nanaimo. Renovations are intended to increase occupancy. Additionally, a permanent modular classroom will be added to the grounds around Fire Station No. 2.

Colliers Project Leaders have been retained by the City to provide Owner’s Representative services and Project Management on behalf of the Owner. The Successful Respondent will be expected to execute a CCDC-5B contract with the City of Nanaimo. Once scope, design, and pricing are established, it is the intention to convert the CCDC-5B to a CCDC-2 contract. The City will retain a Consultant to fulfill the defined role in the CCDC-5B. The Construction Manager will be expected to retain any design professionals required to complete the work.
