The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to secure Proposals from qualified Suppliers for the supply of Footwear (including Fire Fighting Boots, Station Boots, and Dress Shoes) for the Fire Department Staff on an, as and when required basis. All proposed Footwear must meet all NFPA, WorkSafe BC, and Government standards pertaining to the Footwear, as applicable and as described herein.  The City is looking for Footwear that provides the best total value to the City while protecting Fire Department Staff as they perform their duties as further described in Section 5.0 - Scope of Services and Requirements.

This Request for Proposal is subject to the New West Partnership Trade Agreement, the Canadian free Trade Agreement (Chapter 5), and the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (Chapter 19).
