This Negotiated Request for Proposals (the “NRFP”), as may be amended from time to time by Addenda is an invitation by the City to prospective and qualified Proponents to submit proposals for the Project Management Specialist.

The Project Management Specialist will provide comprehensive project management services to support the planning, design, and delivery of municipal capital projects, as required. Acting as the City’s representative, the Project Management Specialist will lead the day-to-day management of projects using a range of delivery models, including but not limited to Integrated Project Delivery, while ensuring alignment with municipal governance requirements and established budget, schedule, and quality objectives.

The initial assignment under this scope of services will be an upgrades and renewed Public Safety Building for the City of Nanaimo, as further described in Section 5.0.

This Request for Proposal is subject to the New West Partnership Trade Agreement, the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (Chapter 5), and the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (Chapter 19).
