The City of Nanaimo requires a Contractor for the provision of Park Amenities for City Community and Neighbourhood playgrounds, parks and facilities. The intention of the resulting agreement shall include projects between $20,000.00 and $500,000.00 on an as and when required basis.  The City may also require bonding on future projects at the project manager's discretion.

Parks Amenities may include, but are not limited to the following: 

1. Playgrounds
2. Fall protection
3. Site furniture (benches/garbage cans /picnic tables/shade structures)
4. Outdoor fitness equipment
5. Parts as needed

Over the full term of the agreement the estimated value is $1,676,400.00; however, the aggregate value is based on operational requirements estimates. The City of Nanaimo reserves the right to increase or decrease the value of this agreement.

NOTE: All equipment supplied must be CSA or ASTM approved

The Contractor must provide the following services:

1. Design / layout / consultation / budgeting
2. Engineering
3. Site preparation
4. Installation of amenities
5. Supply and delivery of amenities and construction materials
6. Repairs and parts as required

The City reserves the right to purchase similar subsequent goods and services for the full-term of the resulting agreement.
