Notice is hereby given by the City of Nanaimo (City) of its intent to direct award a Contract to: Environmental Systems and Research Institute (ESRI) Canada 12 Concorde Place, Suite 900 Toronto, Ontario M3C 3R8 Project Scope: The utilization of geographic information system (GIS) software for three years. The City intends to renew its subscription to multi-user GIS software for the purpose of storing, displaying, managing and analyzing location based (geographic) information. This information is used by multiple departments including Development Services, Engineering & Public Works and Parks, Recreation and Culture for record management, planning, research, analysis, operations, asset management and facility management needs.
Background Summary: The City of Nanaimo utilizes geographic information system (GIS) software for a wide variety of purposes including but not limited to:
In addition to the above listed uses, GIS software is also a key component of the City Cartegraph Asset Management System.
Respondents wishing to challenge the decision to this direct award should submit a detailed written objection.
This Notice of Intent is subject to the New West Partnership Trade Agreement, Canadian Free Trade Agreement - Chapter 5, and the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) - Chapter 19.
