This RFSOQ is seeking professional Construction Management services to support the design of improvements at q'unq'inuqwstuxw Stadium and to then complete the construction of those improvements. The Project comprises improvements to the q'unq'inuqwstuxw Stadium through phased construction, meaning that the design of the Work will be modular, and the construction of the Work will only proceed if the Owner is satisfied with the estimated costs developed by the Construction Manager and the Owner has secured sufficient funds. The Phased construction is intended to proceed as follows: 1. Phase 1 Work will comprise the installation/construction of accessible and standard bleacher seating and the media/coaching booth, all to be completed in 2024. 2. Phase 2 Work will comprise the installation/construction of additional bleacher seating. The Phase 1 Work will proceed provided the pre-construction costing estimates for the Phase 1 Work is acceptable to the Owner and the Owner has successfully secured funds for the completion of the Phase 1 Work. The Phase 2 Work will proceed provided the pre-construction costing estimates for the Phase 1 Work is acceptable to the Owner and the Owner has successfully secured funds for the completion of the Phase 1 Work. This RFSOQ is subject to the New West Partnership Trade Agreement, Canadian Free Trade Agreement - Chapter 5, and the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) - Chapter 19. |
