The City invites Proposals from qualified Proponents for the provision of snow clearing and ice control at Beban Park Facility, 2300 Bowen Road, Nanaimo, British Columbia on an “as and when required” basis as further described in Section 5.0 Specifications of the RFP document. A map, labelled Figure 1, is included in Section 5.0 of this RFP. This map is provided solely to illustrate the general area where the Services are to be performed and is not guaranteed to be accurate. If awarded, the term of the Agreement will be for one (1) year commencing on or about September 15, 2025 to September 14, 2026 for Winter Season 1, covering the period of October 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026. This may be extended for four (4) optional one (1) year terms, for Winter Season 2, Winter Season 3, Winter Season 4 and Winter Season 5, subject to satisfactory performance reviews, and if mutually agreeable. The City shall not incur any liability, should it choose not to exercise the option to extend the Agreement. This Request for Proposal is subject to the New West Partnership Trade Agreement, the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (Chapter 5), and the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (Chapter 19). |
