The City of Nanaimo invites qualified Proponents to submit a Proposal for the Supply and Delivery of Firefighter Duty Jackets on an if and when requested basis. The firefighter duty jacket is intended for emergency scenarios where full structural firefighting gear is unnecessary. It will be worn during station work, community outreach, light training, and when firefighters are on call but not actively engaged in firefighting. The jacket must balance functionality, comfort, and durability. This Request for Proposal is subject to the New West Partnership Trade Agreement, the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (Chapter 5), and the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (Chapter 19). |
