Notice is hereby given by the City of Nanaimo (City) of its intent to direct award a contract to:

The project requires Construction Management Services to renovate an occupied RCMP detachment at 303 Prideaux Street, Nanaimo, British Columbia. Work must commence immediately to meet project timelines and operational needs.

It is a requirement for all on-site workers and sub-contractors performing Work at any RCMP building to have an Enhanced Reliability / Security Clearance and must have a Facility Access and Security Clearance. All Construction Management employees engaged in the project, as well as all subcontractors and suppliers who are required to enter the site due to their scope of work on the project or have access to the drawings as part of their assigned tasks, must already have completed and hold a valid Facility Access and Security Clearance.
